Demands polls by April

A Dhaka court yesterday framed charges against former premier Sheikh Hasina, her sister Sheikh Rehana and cousin Sheikh Fazlul Karim Selim in a extortion case. Sheikh Hasina, the president of Awami League (AL), protested her innocence and said that the case is false and motivated. Of the three, Sheikh Hasina and former health minister Sheikh Selim are detained while Sheikh Rehana, who lives in London, was indicted in absentia.
