Centre for Research and Information (CRI) was founded as own Information and Research Centre for Bangladesh Awami League.

Bangladesh Awami League, the largest political party of the country, has chosen the flight of modern democratic politics and henceforth, takes its decision through the collected data regarding the socio-economic condition of the country to determine its political strategy.

Bangladesh Awami League has been able to fulfill the demand of the people and time by establishing the Information and Research Centre keeping pace with the chronology of the Information Technology.

CRI is aiming to collect information, analyse the course of economics and politics as well as the organisational data from the grass root level.

CRI is equipped enough to provide with necessary data support to the Party President Honourable Sheikh Hasina with collected information from different strata of the society.

Besides, CRI also collects data and directs research on the history and constitutions of different political parties of the world. Simultaneously, the library of CRI has already been enriched with the collection of invaluable books written on International politics, world economics and global socio-political phenomena.

Daily national news and organisational news of Bangladesh Awami League has been regularly updated for the quest of the viewers in country and abroad through this website.

Any person from any corner of the country can put their comments and suggestions to the Party President Honourable Sheikh Hasina through E-mail. The E-mail of the General Secretary of Bangladesh Awami League has also been included on the site.

CRI has already brought out some invaluable publications. Among those, the most significant one is “Rigged Election: An Illegitimate Government” (also translated in Bengali) which was edited by the Chief Advisor of CRI Mr. Abul Mal Abdul Muhith.
