Physicians examine her

Former prime minister and Awami League president Sheikh Hasina was admitted to Square Hospital in the capital this morning (March 11). She arrived at Square Hospital at around 8:50am from the special jail on the Sangsad Bhaban premises.

Five medical specialists arrived at Square Hospital shortly after Sheikh Hasina was admitted there.

Ear, nose and throat specialist Dr Pran Gopal Dutta, eye specialist Dr Syed Modasser Ali, heart specialist Dr MH Millat, general medicine specialist Dr ABM Abdullah and dermatologist Dr Kabir Chowdhury arrived at the hospital around 11:30 am to check on Sheikh Hasina's condition.

The former prime minister has been suffering from partial hearing loss and raised blood pressure. She also has difficulty with her balance, her personal physicians who visited her in special jail had said earlier.
