The elected ward commissioner Bina was killed due to in fighting within the terrorist groups. A total of 33 listed criminals have been elected in Four Party Alliance ticket as ward commissioners in Dhaka City Corporation.

Awami League did not participated in any of the three city corporations election in 2002. Even on the second day of the successful hartal observed to reject the thoroughly rigged polls the BNP-Jamaat terrorists stabbed Dulu to death.

Jamal, a meritorious student of honors class in Kapasia. and a swimming champion. Also an Awami  Student League worker.

Had it been a case of death to drowning Jamal's tummy would have swollen. Crossed arms and plain tummy only confirm the fact that he was brutally murdered in police custody at the behest of BNP leaders and thrown in the river afterwards. He was arrested first out of no reason by the police and tortured inhumanly. According to police version, 'Jamal Fakir died due to drowning!'. But the picture tells us a different story. One of several death in police custody over the months of BNP.
