Sheikh Hasina's video footage to confuse people: Awami League The Awami League joint secretary, Obaidul Kader, on Tuesday said BNP leaders showed the video footage of former prime minister Sheikh Hasina's speech in parliament stressing the need for election in 90 days was designed to confuse the people. The BNP showed the video footage to journalists at Hawa Bhaban on Monday showing that then Sheikh Hasina citing constitutional provision for the compulsion of holding general elections within 90 days since the dissolution of parliament. Obaidul Kader told reporters at Awami League Dhanmondi office in the evening that the perspective of the political situation at that time was different and no complaint was raised by anyone about the Election Commission, the caretaker government, voters' list and the administration. |
