So far 129,510 financially insolvent female students received the stipends which help them continue their study up to degree level.
After assuming to office in 2008, the government has undertaken numerous initiatives including distribution of free textbooks up to secondary level, stipends for the female students and introduction of midday meal to check the dropout rate.
