‘Hello Chhatra League Ambulance’ has been launched at the initiative of Bandarban District Chhatra League.
Chattogram Hill Tracts (CHT) Affairs Minister Bir Bahadur Ushwe Sing, MP, today inaugurated the ‘Hello Chhatra League Ambulance’ through a programme as the chief guest held at Arun Sarki Town Hall here.
Later, the minister handed over the ambulance to the Hill District Council.
On the occasion, the minister lauded Bandarban District Chhatra League for taking such exceptional initiative to the cause of poor and helpless patients.
The ambulance will transport critically ill patients from the door of any house and provide immediate service by making a phone call to a mobile number assigned by Hello Chhatra League.
Bandarban Hill District Council Chairman Kyashaihla, Hill District Council Chief Executive Officer M Kausar Hossain, District Awami League General Secretary Mohammad Islam Baby, Joint General Secretary Laxmipad Das, Organizing Secretary Mozammel Haque Bahadur and Red Crescent Society Bandarban Unit Secretary Amal Kanti Das were present, among others, on the occasion.
