Palestine President Mahmoud Abbas and Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, who are now in New York to attend UN General Assembly, have discussed the Myanmar crisis and sufferings of thousand of Myanmar Rohingya Muslims.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has stressed the protection of human and labour rights as the working conditions and the labour market is going through fundamental changes globally, creating new challenges and opportunities.
Referring to Bangladesh's experience worst form of sexual violence during its War of Liberation, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Monday said, "We believe all victims of sexual exploitation and abuse deserve justice and also opportunities for rehabilitation".
Accusing again the BNP of committing unbridled corruption and siphoning off money abroad during its rule, Prime Minister and Leader of the House Sheikh Hasina today warned that proper action must be taken against those who plundered public property.
Bangladesh has called on Myanmar to end violence against Rohingyas as Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina visits refugee camps in the southeastern part of the country.
