The Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) approved seven development projects involving Taka 5,727.40 crore.
The cabinet approved in principle the draft of "The Communicable Diseases Prevention, Control and Eradication Law, 2016" aimed at facing a risk and emergency situation related to public health by checking and eradicating contagious diseases.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said most of the works under the guidelines of the CHT Peace Accord, except the land reform, have been implemented. "All army camps except four brigades would be withdrawn from the hills," she said.
