In a congratulatory message today, Madani hoped that under the wise and far-sighted leadership of the Prime Minister, the people of Bangladesh will witness broad unity and consolidation in the coming years.
The OIC secretary general expressed his deep interest to work closely with Sheikh Hasina on issues of mutual interests and concern.
He added that the OIC stood ready to extend all possible support to Bangladesh in its endeavours for political unity, economic progress and social stability.
