Briefing reporters after the meeting, PM's Special Assistant Mahbubul Hoque Shakil said they discussed issues related to the music of the subcontinent.
The Prime Minister highly appreciated the talent of AR Rahman and said the Oscar-winning artiste has successfully projected the rich music of the subcontinent before the world people afresh.
Sajeeb Wazed Joy, eminent computer scientist and son of the Prime Minister, and Radwan Mujib Siddiq , son of Sheikh Rehana, daughter of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, and Radwan's wife Peppi Siddiq and Nazmul Hasan Papon, MP, President of Bangladesh Cricket Board, were present on the occasion.
AR Rahman arrived here today to participate in a concert to be staged at Bangabandhu National Stadium on the occasion of the upcoming T20 World Cup Cricket.
