Today he discussed with young entrepreneurs of Bangladesh at Hotel Rupashi Bangla’s Winter Garden in ‘Policy Cafe with Sajeeb Wazed Joy on ICT’ which started at 7.30 pm. State Minister for Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology, Mr. Zunaid Ahmed Palak was also present at the program.
Particpants stated their suggestions in diverse sectors, from application of ICT in grass root levels to composition of a disabled-friendly policy.
Regarding the use of Union Information and service centers (UISC) in dealing with the social issues, Joy said that a domestic network coordination system has been initiated which will enable the people from every level to connect with central level through UISC.
Regarding Foreign direct invest and receiving remittance, Joy said that government has targeted to increase the income from 200 million to 1 billion US $ in five years.
State Minister Zunaid Ahmed Palak said in his welcome speech that government wants to build a nation that thrives with technology and it will keep its promise to fulfil the Vision-2021.
