The five projects will cost Tk2,072 crore with Tk1,453 crore as foreign assistance and Tk618 crore from the national exchequer, BSS reported.
One of the projects included modernising the Bangladesh Telecommunications Company Limited (BTCL) with next generation network (NTN).
Under this project, about 10 lakh land phone users will be able to connect and use the internet services without taking new connections.
Another development project of Tk100 crore will see procurement of modern equipment for the Ahsania Mission Cancer and General Hospital.
The ECNEC also gave its nod to the Laksam-Nangolkot-Kodalia-Dhalua-Chittora Bazar road development project at Tk49.8 crore government fund.
The two other projects are setting up of fish landing center at haor region at Tk64 crore and fish farming and management at haor areas at Tk37 crore.
