PM Takes Responsibility for Treatment of Abdul Quader and SSC Examinee Hridoy

PM's Deputy Press Secretary Ashraful Alam Khokan told that the Prime Minister asked Director of Prime Minister's Office (PMO) Dr Zulfiqar Lenin to take all sorts of measures for treatment of Abdul Qader and Rhidoy who were injured seriously in bomb explosions in Feni town during the blockade enforced by the BNP-led 20-Party Alliance.

Both the injured are now undergoing treatment at the National Institute of Ophthalmology in the capital.

Khokan said the Prime Minister also directed the authorities concerned to send them abroad, if necessary, for better treatment.

Earlier, the Prime Minister on Saturday also took the responsibility for treatment of another injured student of Feni Minhajul Islam Anik.

Rhidoy and Anik, SSC examinees of Feni Government Pilot High School, suffered injuries when masked terrorists hurled a crude bomb at them in Khejur Chattar area in the Feni town at 4.30 pm on January 5.

They were returning home by a rickshaw from their private tutor's house at that time.

On the other hand, Feni Executive Magistrate (NDC) Abdul Qader sustained injuries in a crude bomb attack by miscreants in the district town on January 9.

The miscreants hurled the crude bomb at a microbus carrying Qader near the police quarters on Shaheed Shahidullah Qaiser Road around 9:05pm.

The magistrate was on his way to Dhaka-Chittagong Highway to perform his duty with members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB).
